Product Line Manager, Mobile Multi Media (MMM) Systems
Responsible for over $300 million in revenue across all MMM products including navigation, telematics, RSAV, and DSRC systems. Built business centered around the telematics on-board systems sold to GM, Toyota, and Honda, the rear seat audio-video systems sold to Ford, the truckPC product sold to Freightliner, and navigation systems sold to General Motors. At its peak, we had booked over one billion dollars in future revenue for MMM products.
Director of Engineering, Asia/Pacific Region, based in Singapore
Responsible for all engineering in seven countries. Enabled the foundation to expand design centers in region in Bangalore, India and in Singapore where Delphi was awarded the largest government supplied grant to co-fund this new design center. Substantially grew the application engineering resource in region covering Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Australia providing support for numerous products launches for audio, powertrain control, and security systems plus co-development of advanced systems with Toyota, Honda, Holdens, Daewoo, and other vehicular OEMs.
Director of Advanced Development & Systems Integration
Responsible for 450 people and $50 million budget. Built organization from scratch to this size over five years, resulting in a pipeline filled with new products such as night vision systems, navigation products, the precursor system to OnStar telematics, millimeter wave based forward looking radar systems, digital audio systems, a complete spectrum of electric vehicle products and systems, plus advanced engine control systems. Most of these products are in production today.
